Even before they stepped onto the stage the audience was infected with giddy, electric energy. Karen moved around the stage as if it was the most natural thing in the world, making my job easier as I moved fluidly in my own natural space. And the best part? Being covered with red, glittery Y’s that shot into the air right before song 3. I still have one in my wallet for safe keeping to remind me of the glitter and haze of the end of summer.
