THE SITUATION
Hi. My name is Julia Zave (JZ for short). I am an ad agency AE (Account Executive to those unfamiliar with ad speak) by day and concert photographer by night. Project management makes me feel organized and conventionally productive, while music and photography make me feel alive and spontaneously in the moment. Armed with Gary Vaynerchuk’s, Crush It! for inspiration. Insight from Photojojo’s Starting Your Photo Biz, support and occasional kicks in the ass from friends, mentors and ASMP’s Strictly Business Blog, plus a 150,000 image archive, my cameras,  laptop, Droid and Wifi – I am (at least in theory) ready for whatever comes my way.

THE GOAL
Be unstoppable (still working on that). Hustle my way to my first 10 in 2010. Ten what? 10 thousand. Take home 10k from photo earnings alone. Donate 10% of the money to a charity of my choice (yet to be determined) while I train for my 4th marathon. This is ambitious. Really ambitious. But I’m unstoppable, remember? So here we go…One girl. One blog. One year. One shoot at a time.
